ICN News – The company was establi-shed in October 1990 with the authorized capital of Rp 500,000,000 of which Rp 100,000,000 was issued and fully paid up. The founding shareholders of the company are Mr. Henry Angkasa, Mr. Ir. A. Tossin Suharya and Mr. Achmad Sanusi.
In March 1995 the authorized capital of the company was raised to Rp 3,500,000,000 of which Rp 700,000,000 was issued and fully paid up. In April 2008 through the articles of association of the company made by Mr. Muslim, SH, the company changed its shareholders in which the shareholders of the company were Mr. Henry Angkasa, Mr. Ir. Tossin Suharya and his son Mr. Stephen Ignatius Suharya.
After passing various long processes, finally in November 2012 BSSR succeeded in performing Initial Public Offering (IPO) by releasing 10% or 261.55 million sheets of shares and collected a fund of Rp 509.92 billion.
During the offering, IPO BSSR experienced oversubscriber more than once. CIMB Securities acted as the lead underwriter. Based on information received by ICN NEWS that there were three foreign companies buying up all shares of BSSR. They are Khopoli Investment Limited, a subsidiary company of TATA Power, Idemitsu Kosan Co Ltd and Trafigura.
