ICN News – SDHI’s participation in Mining Indonesia Expo 2026 provided an important opportunity for the group to showcase its business strength, performance, and commitment to developing the Indonesian market.
The event began with an opening ceremony attended by SDHI’s management and representatives from its various divisions. In his opening remarks, SDHI’s leader from China expressed appreciation for the company’s performance while emphasizing the importance of maintaining growth and strengthening SDHI’s presence in Indonesia.
The message was followed by presentations from each division. Within approximately five minutes, each division presented an overview of its performance, achievements, product capabilities, and strategies in responding to the evolving needs of the Indonesian industry.

Five divisions took part in the presentations: Weichai, Shantui, Shacman, Sinotruk, and Lovol. Each has its own focus and strengths, while operating within the same business ecosystem under SDHI.
Weichai highlighted its strength in engine technology and power solutions for various industrial applications. Meanwhile, Shantui showcased its capabilities in heavy equipment, particularly for the mining and construction sectors, where productivity and reliability are essential.
In the heavy-duty vehicle segment, Shacman presented its performance and strategy to further strengthen its presence in the Indonesian market. Heavy duty transportation plays an important role in supporting mining operations and other industrial activities.
Sinotruk also demonstrated its capabilities in providing transportation solutions to support industrial operations. Efficiency, productivity, and increasingly complex transportation requirements are important elements of its business development.
Meanwhile, Lovol showcased its products and technology, along with its commitment to providing heavy equipment solutions that meet the needs of the Indonesian market.

Remaining Optimistic Despite the Challenges of 2026
During the event, ICN NEWS also had the opportunity to interview representatives from several SDHI divisions to gain a closer perspective on current business conditions and market prospects.
From the interviews, it was clear that 2026 has not been an easy year. Economic conditions and industry dynamics have created various challenges for businesses, including the heavy equipment and mining support sectors.
Nevertheless, these challenges have not diminished SDHI’s optimism. Each division continues to demonstrate confidence in maintaining its performance and working toward its targets through the end of 2026.
This optimism became one of the key messages of SDHI’s participation in Mining Indonesia Expo 2026. The event was not only an opportunity to introduce products, but also to demonstrate SDHI’s readiness to respond to changing market conditions and build stronger relationships with industries in Indonesia.

With five divisions offering different capabilities and products, SDHI has a broad portfolio to support various industrial needs, ranging from power solutions, heavy equipment, and heavy-duty vehicles to transportation solutions.
Ultimately, Mining Indonesia Expo 2026 was more than simply an exhibition for SDHI. It provided an opportunity to demonstrate its performance, technology, brand strength, and optimism for the future of Indonesia’s mining industry.
