United Tractors

ICN News – A safe, empowered, and healthy working environment is a core foundation for building a resilient and sustainable organization. PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) is recognized as one of Asia’s best workplaces at the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026 for continuously implementing this principle. The awards are presented onsite at the Ritz Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place.

In this event, UT success-fully achieves three awards, including the grand prize of HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026, received by the Corporate Human Capital & Corporate University Division Head at UT, Abun Jufar Jaya, the HR Asia Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award 2026, accepted by Human Capital Organization Develop-ment Associate, Ginas Ayomi, and the HR Asia Sustainable Workplace Award 2026 accepted by the Head of Corporate Sustainability Department, Tri Puji Astuti.

The awards reflect UT’s commitment to shaping a workplace that supports productivity while prioritizing people. This commitment encompasses employee physical and mental health, as well as supporting sustainability and diversity practices.

“This achievement stands as a testament to the collective spirit of all UT personnel in building a workplace that continuously grows and improves. It serves as a fuel for us to strengthen our commitment to implementing the 3P Roadmap across the Portfolio, People, and Public Contribution areas. UT aims to not only grow as a business entity but also as an organization that gives sustained positive impact toward our internal and external stakeholders,” UT’s Director, Ari Sustrisno, claims.

The prestigious event involves 2.5 million respondents and 20,000 companies across Asia, 20% of which are Fortune 500 companies, making it a critical industry benchmark for human capital and workplace excellence in the region.

The awards judge the extent to which companies demonstrate their ability to create an open, safe, and sustainable workplace. Evaluations occur through an employee survey and internal assessments of organizational culture, highlighting aspects such as employee engagement, leadership, trust, and diversity and inclusion principles.

As part of Astra International, UT recognizes that people are the Company’s greatest asset. Therefore, UT consistently invests in developing quality talent while maintaining sustainability as a key priority across all its business operations. This is realized through the implementation of one of UT’s 10 Sustainability Aspirations, a strategic framework designed to drive the creation of a workplace that is safe, inclusive, and supports a healthy balance between personal and professional life.

Through this aspiration, UT equips its employees with a strong understanding of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, along with relevant technical competencies to face future industry challenges. While the recognition highlights UT Group’s success in human capital management and development, it also reinforces the Company’s commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia.
