ICN News – From September 17 to 19, the 2025 Indonesia International Construction & Mining Machinery Exhibition grandly opened at the Jakarta International Expo. As a benchmark enterprise in China’s construction machinery industry going global, Shandong Heavy Industry Group participated under the theme “Tech Empowered, Future Equipped.”
Positioning the mining sector as a strategic priority market, five of its major subsidiaries Shantui, Lovol Construction Machinery, Weichai Power, SINOTRUK, and SHACMAN jointly showcased a full range of mining equipment and integrated solutions. The Group delivered its brand values of “green, efficient, intelligent, and economical” to Indonesia and Southeast Asia, injecting Chinese strength into the global mining industry upgrade. The event was attended by Mr. Wang Zhijian, General Manager, and Deputy General Managers Mr. Zhang Gengsheng and Mr. Ma Changhai, along with overseas business leaders of subsidiary companies and Southeast Asian clients.
At the concentrated delivery ceremony, a batch of advanced equipment including fuel powered systems, construction machinery, and mining vehicles was officially handed over to major Indonesian clients. These machines will help customers improve productivity and strengthen competitiveness in Indonesia’s mining sector.
During the strategic customer signing ceremony, the Group reached new cooperation agreements with several leading Indonesian enterprises in the fields of product procurement, technology cooperation, and localized services, further consolidating and deepening bilateral strategic partnerships.
Meanwhile, Shandong Heavy Industry Group launched a series of integrated new mining products specially optimized for the Indonesian and Southeast Asian markets. With a focus on green technology, high-end equipment, and smart mining, the Group aims to jointly explore cleaner, safer, more efficient, and more intelligent models of mining development supporting Indonesia’s sustainable growth in economy, environment, and society.
Through immersive exhibitions, product launches, and global partner dialogues, the Group showcased a wide range of cutting edge products including powertrains, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, rollers, dump trucks, and tractors. Among them, the Weichai powertrain stood out for its stronger and faster performance, becoming the driving force behind high-horsepower equipment. Shantui and Lovol Construction Machinery exhibited their 100-ton class mining excavators SE1500LCW and FR2000F, paired with mining trucks and dumpers from SINOTRUK and SHACMAN forming the star attractions of the high horsepower mining zone. These products won high praise from partners, who also expressed strong confidence in future collaboration.
Looking ahead, Shandong Heavy Industry Group will continue to expand investment in Indonesia, accelerate localization, and enhance R&D and service capabilities.
